I photographed this little Crocus while the sun
was shining into the kitchen.
This Crocus was brought in from the garden by me
on sunday, sort of a rescue operation
because of the predicted winter attack.
I couldn't bring every single one of them in of course.
For most of the Crocuses(not that many in our garden)
that would have been impossible anyway,
not without destroying them while trying to remove them from the soil.
But with this one I gave it a try and it worked beautifully.
Last year I tried the exact same thing with a snowdrop
but that didn't work. The poor thing just dried up inside.
I do wonder now if I can just put this Crocus
back into the garden after its bloom or not?
I will give it a try anyhow and see what happens next year.
